 As humans, it’s our nature to be social and when social media was born it gave people a whole new way of connecting. These different platforms provide ways for people to network and grow their businesses, meet new people, receive inspiration, have a good laugh, stay connected with friends and family as well as express themselves, their interests and the list goes on. But I fought the requests for me to join social media for so long because I didn’t see the point of it. I didn’t have a business to promote and if I wanted to know what friends and family were up to, I could just reach out to them directly.

Who cut off game stronger than a Virgo, I'll wait.

​As a joke, a friend sent me the above meme. It’s been said that us Virgos are “quick to cut people off,” but nothing could be further from the truth. However, I have gotten to the point that if a person’s behavior warrants them to be removed from my life, I am no longer hesitant to do it. Often we can become conditioned to keep unhealthy people around due to a false sense of loyalty, fear of being alone, comfort etc. This way of thinking can be toxic and keep you stuck in relationships that have long since worn.
