The work we do doesn’t always go viral or seen by the masses. People at times are unaware of the hours of planning and oversight that it may take to create a social media campaign, physical event or virtual event. Time is spent between countless emails, the little expenses that add up that you might not have the money for, and brainstorming. And then there is the hope. The hope that the message you created was received somewhere by someone who really needed it. Sometimes we discredit ourselves. It usually happens when we see a large platform and begin to think having a small platform or audience means we are less valuable. That is the lie that the mind attempts to tell us. I know you might look at others and say WOW, but I want you to look at the work that you do and say WOW too. You or someone you know are out here doing this work and deserves to be valued, acknowledged, and awarded. The Strength In Healing Awards are about the person who gets up every single day walking in a purpose that was created and designed for them. Applauding the person who pours into the life of others while pouring into themselves along the way. With this being said, it is my pleasure to announce that the nomination period for The 2024 Strength In Healing Awards is now open. Submission deadline is Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at 11:59PM/EST.
